Line 6 FloorPOD Plus

I did not know much about Line 6 POD Floor Plus, but I planned to buy one.

It's look great, I saw it already at a music store, the material from POD floor plus look fit.

Sound : I heard the sound from POD Floor Plus when I visit my friend, he have a home recording studio for rent, I hear from some one who rent his studio and bring Line 6 POD Floor Plus, it's sound flabby, but when I heard my other friend use POD Floor I love it. I assume that the sound character came out depend on how you setting you're guitar and guitar amp, but to get easiest just turn the knob for amp model, set your guitar tone, and set you're guitar amp frequency from the high, middle and low knob also the tension from you're finger influence guitar sound's directly.

POD floor plus material and design look very fit. For real that I did not have an opportunity to try it yet, but I dream it for real and I swear that I will buy it some day.

Music

Almost every time I hear a sound, even in a dark lonely night. And when in the street, there is a lot of sound, but I did not hear all of the street sound for better. But sometimes when I was standing beside, I try to hear I hear the engine sound it’s like “sssshhhhhhssshhhhh”, most of people say it just a sound.

So what kind of sound is music ?
For what I called music it’s when a sound trough my ears and came to my heart, the sound representing of mind, feeling or both and harmonic.

Guitar

I still learning to play guitar until now. When I have my first guitar, my friend say that the guitar is not good at all. he said that a good guitar mean have a small neck, small body and branded. I almost believe him, because he’s have more experience in music. After I learn how to play guitar, I don’t have to buy expensive branded guitar, it depend on how to played it, how to feel the guitar and comfortable to use.
Every person have a different way to feel the comfortable. I like a little big neck and with medium fret size. And I didn’t like high tone sound to much, to get a lower tone I chose not to heavy wood for the body. But I think that all is not the most important think to played a guitar. I think the most important is how to feel the music and the way to interact with the guitar.

drum for the rhythm

One night I hear a song. Sing by a local indie band. I love the drum beat it make's me feel the spirit from the song. After hearing that song I still can feel the temp from the beat. I think that for people like me who love music rock, punk, emo, techno, etc, drum is very important, it's like the heart from the group. Heart beat control the tempo of our moves, just like drum beat that control the tempo of the song.

I want to learn playing drum, because I want to have a better play when I playing guitar, I hope if I learn for playing drum one day, it can make me be a better rhythm guitar player. I didn’t know exactly if I learn for playing drum can make’s me a better rhythm guitar player, but my instinct said so. I just follow my intuition and hearing my heart and then do it.

For learning playing drum in my country it’s not cheap. The drum set are expensive and so I have to pay a drum teacher that cost half of my salary for a month. Perhaps the problem is not the expensive drum teacher but the big problem is my salary. So I need to get extra job for getting extra income.

story of me and my guitar

My name is D. Mohana, but every body called me iki, I’m not a good guitar player but I love playing guitar very much, some of my friend loved to hear me playing guitar but some of my friend doesn’t like it that much. Even some of my friend doesn’t like it that much, it wont make me quit for playing guitar.

This is my first guitar, I buy it when I was 19, I want it since I was 13, but at least I can buy it after almost 7 years. I buy it for Rp. 40.000,- it’s about $ 4.00, my friend sell it to me.

I learn guitar first from my friend big brother his name is Gandu, he teach me guitar chord and some classic song and a lot of people teach me for playing guitar after that, then I buy an electric guitar after about a year I learn it, I buy it for Rp 250.000,- it’s about $ 25.00, a very cheap electric guitar for me it’s like you buy a hardcase and get an electric guitar for a bonus. Rp. 250.000,- is a price for hard case only, I got lucky for buying it. That time when my friend most looking for a free video xxx, get a style,show their girl friend and try to be a dude, I think playing guitar is more important than that.

This is my electric guitar, but I quit playing guitar after 3 month I buy it. My parents are to afraid if I become a guitarist one day. They mad and said that I’m a bad guitar player and have no talent for it, it’s make e very sad, my parent want me to be a blue collar or a business man more than being a musician, then I decide not to play guitar anymore, I didn’t want to quit for playing guitar but there is culture from my people that you have to do what you’re parent say to you, and my religion say the same thing. Hard decision I have to make, it’s make me feeling a very bad feel every time I see somebody else playing guitar.

Until it’s already five year since I playing guitar for the last time, my parent say that it’s O.K. if I want to play guitar, even I know from their eyes that they still want me to become a blue collar or a businessman it make’s me glad at least. I try to playing guitar again, but it much harder than the first time I learn it, It’s to hard for me to playing guitar again, I cry sometimes because it’s to hard, but I wont quit trying.

Now I already buy another guitar again and try to make some song, but I still want another guitar again, it’s never enough to have a guitar. And now I saving money from my small salary every month for buying a multieffect guitar processor. I want it very much and I hope I can buy it some day sometimes I dreaming that I can get a coupon to get that guitar effect. But it’s impossible, so more hard work and more saving money it’s better for me than dreaming for geting a coupon.
